We would like to welcome Pam from Bellabutton Photography. Pam is a parent at City Kids who has commenced operating her own business. Her photo's are amazing, very natural.

We will be having photo's at the centre the week of the 25th of October. There are a range of shots and packages that we have developed together to offer our parents, beautiful shots with value for money.

We would like to welcome on board members of our community to be able to work along with us to provide information to our families on a range of topics and provide services.

CHIROPRACTOR - Dr Andrea

Dr Andrea Parisio has come on board, a family Chiropractor based in Port Melbourne. Andrea will be available for advice for staff as well parents and will be able to offer families general health and nutrition advice. Andrea is available for appointments at her practice in Bay Street. Please see the flyer below for more information.

How do I organise a tour and information session at City Kids?

You can call us on 9681 7774 or email info@citykids.com.au and we can book in a time that is appropriate. We can go through any questions, information about the enrolment procedure and also the vacancies available in the appropriate age group room.

What are City Kids operating hours?

City Kids is open from 7am till 6.30pm Monday to Friday. We are only closed through out the year on  official Public Holidays.

This year for our Christmas break we are closed at 6.30pm on Thursday 23rd of December and we will re-open for care on Tuesday 4th of January 2011 at 7am.

How do we put our child/ren on the City Kids waiting list?

Please call Karen on 9681 7774 at reception and she will record your child's details. When a position becomes available we will then call you to arrange a tour and enrolment appointment at the centre.

What is included as part of our daily fee at City Kids ELC?

Your child/ren will be supplied with nappies or pull ups supported through toilet training, which ever is appropriate, sunscreen and 5 meals throughout the day.

Our chef Steve prepares a nutritious menu consisting of breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and an evening snack at 5.30pm for the children that are still in attendance at the centre. Steve also caters for most allergies and is able to prepare alternatives for children who are allergic to items on the menu. We also endeavour to not have any nuts on our premises, so please make sure you are washing your hands on arrival to our centre.

How do we get involved in the centre's parent committee?

Please see our events calendar for the next parent committee meeting. All parents or family members are welcome. Our meetings are held at 5.30 pm in the board room at our centre.

What if my child has food allergies?
Steve, our chef, is an expert in catering for children with allergies and special dietary requirements. Please make sure you fill in this question on your child's enrolment form and communicate with Steve in regards to alternatives that can be offered.

What do I need to supply for my child's day at City Kids?

When you are packing items for your child's day, here are some ideas for what to pack in their back pack....also check out the City Kids merchandise page to purchase a bucket hat if you need to.

  • Spare full change of clothes
  • Water bottle
  • Sunsmart hat
  • Jacket / Beanie for winter
  • Child's comforter
