How do I organise a tour and information session at City Kids?

You can call us on 9681 7774 or email info@citykids.com.au and we can book in a time that is appropriate. We can go through any questions, information about the enrolment procedure and also the vacancies available in the appropriate age group room.

What are City Kids' operating hours?

City Kids is open from 7am till 6.30pm Monday to Friday. We recognise all official Public Holidays.

Christmas Break
City Kids is closed for approximately a week in the days between Christmas and New Year. Dates vary each year so please speak to reception for accurate closure dates.

How do we put our child/ren on the City Kids waiting list?

Please call complete the attached waiting list form and email to waitlist@citykids.com.au and our helpful staff will record your child's details. When a position becomes available you will be contacted to arrange a tour and enrolment appointment at the centre.

What is included as part of our daily fee at City Kids ELC?

Your child/ren will be supplied with nappies or pull ups supported through toilet training, which ever is appropriate, sunscreen and 5 meals throughout the day.

Our Cook, Liz, prepares a nutritious menu consisting of breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and an evening snack at 5.30pm for the children that are still in attendance at the centre. Liz also caters for most allergies and is able to prepare alternatives for children who are allergic to items on the menu. We also endeavour to not have any nuts on our premises with the support of families and friends of the centre.

How do we get involved in the centre's parent committee?

Please see our events calendar for the next parent committee meeting. All parents or family members are welcome. Our meetings are held at 5.30 pm in the board room at our centre.

What if my child has food allergies?

Liz, our cook, is an expert in catering for children with allergies and special dietary requirements. Please make sure you fill in this question on your child's enrolment form and communicate with Liz in regards to alternatives that can be offered. In accordance with inclusion regulations, every attempt is made to offer a child with allergies a comparative alternative.

What do I need to supply for my child's day at City Kids?

When you are packing items for your child's day, here are some ideas for what to pack in their back pack:

  • Spare full change of clothes
  • Water bottle
  • Sunsmart hat
  • Jacket / Beanie for winter
  • Child's comforter
